Developmental Screening

The Developmental
Picture

A short screening to help us understand whether reflex integration work might be relevant — and where to begin.

As described earlier on the website, reflexes are reflexive or automated movement patterns built into the nervous system — they emerge before birth and form the foundation for much of what develops afterward: coordination, attention, emotional regulation, learning, connection and more. When early reflexes integrate fully, that foundation is solid. When they don't, for various reasons, the effects can be subtle but persistent — showing up as patterns that don't quite fit and are slow to resolve on their own.

These patterns are more common than most people realize, and they're found across every age. Development is not something we complete in childhood — it continues throughout life. This screening is a first step toward understanding which of these 25 reflexes may need extra attention, and what kind of support could help.

Rate how much each statement applies — 0 means not at all, 5 means very much so. Score both columns: Now (currently) and When younger (earlier childhood). Leave blank any item you are unsure about. If both parents are completing this together, discuss each item before rating.

A quick note

The Developmental Picture is an educational screening tool, not a diagnostic instrument. It does not replace assessment by a medical, psychological, or therapeutic professional. Your responses will be reviewed personally before any feedback is shared with you.

We'll send your Developmental Picture within one to two days.

Thank you.

What you've shared takes a real look at something that matters. We'll review your responses personally and send your Developmental Picture to your email within one to two days.

What happens next

Your Developmental Picture gives us a useful first map. When you've had a chance to read it, the natural next step is a short introductory call — a chance to meet, ask questions, and decide together whether a deeper assessment makes sense for you.

That deeper assessment is called the Reflex Profile. It maps nervous system patterns across every reflex domain and opens a clear path toward integration work — a process that, for many families, changes things in ways they didn't think were still possible.

There's no pressure and no commitment at any stage. We'll be in touch soon.
